The EduSafe Kiosk is a specialized, rapid-response public health design tailored specifically for educational environments. It adapts the necessity of high-volume biometric triage and sanitation into a multi-generational system designed to keep schools open, safe, and functioning smoothly.
The Philosophy: Safeguarding the Academic Environment
The philosophy behind this design recognizes a unique challenge brought on by the global pandemic: how do we enforce strict government health guidelines in a school without creating massive administrative delays before the first bell rings? EduSafe is built on the principle of "inclusive hygiene security." It ensures that safety protocols are completely seamless and physically accessible for every single person entering the building—from the tallest faculty member to the smallest primary student. The goal is to make compliance an effortless reflex, allowing the institution's focus to remain on uninterrupted academics rather than the chaotic logistics of disease prevention.
The Mechanism: Multi-Height Automated Screening
Placed directly at the main entrance gates of a school, this compact, sheet metal kiosk serves as a touchless, dual-action checkpoint that processes individuals in a mere 3 to 4 seconds.

Simultaneous Processing: As a student or teacher enters, they simply place their hand palm-up in the passage. A Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer (NCIT) instantly reads the wrist temperature while an automated nozzle simultaneously dispenses sanitizer onto the palm.

Multi-Generational Ergonomics: The defining mechanical feature of the EduSafe is its bi-level design. Recognizing that a school population has vastly different physical needs, it houses screening and sanitizing hardware at two distinct elevations—one for adults, and one specifically calibrated for young children (down to 3 feet in height).

Clear Triage Logic: The system instantly communicates health status through immediate, universally understood signals. A safe temperature (36 to 37.5°C) yields a reassuring green screen, while an elevated temperature triggers a red display and a buzzing alarm, instantly notifying school administrators.

Introduction
In these days of Corona pandemic, everyone is looking to be safe from others and also make sure about our own cleanliness. In these days we are forced to run educational institutes without disturbing the academics. While the we need to keep in mind that, the social distancing, Cleaning hands and monitoring body temperature of student and teachers must be followed as per the government guidelines. Here I have designed one of the Kiosk named as EduSafe. Which Measures body temperature and cleans hand.
How it Works
The Kiosk is designed to to be placed at the places where the entrance of the school main gate form where all teachers and students enter the school building. While entering into the school building the person or student has to pass through the Edusafe kiosk. At Edusafe person/Student places his/her hand in the passage, the KIOSK measures the body temperature of the person which is done by Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer (NCIT), which points on to the wrist, then it sprays the sanitizer onto his palm.
About the Product
This Product is made up of Sheet metal and is compact in size as compared to other tall sanitizer dispensers and decent shape to be placed at the entrance of the school. This Device will do two functions on one go, which means once the person places his hand at the passage for collecting sanitizer it measures the body temperature, displays on the screen (If the temperature is 36 to 37.5 degree Centigrade or below it will be green and if it is more than 37.5 Degree’s it will buzz the alarm and display will be in red color with temperature) and sprays out the sanitizer. It will take at least 3 to 4 Seconds to do this function. It has Sanitizer level indicator also, which will show the amount of sanitizer in the tank. This Product has sanitizer sprayer and body temperature measuring device both sides of the body as shown in the picture, this design is done by considering the different heights of adults and kids of height 3 foot. This will give an advantage of having two machine functions in one KIOSK, reducing number of devices to be purchased and installed for each purpose.
