Traditional wheel design relies entirely on a central axle to bear the heavy load of a vehicle. The philosophy behind the Eccentric Wheel challenges this norm. Originating from a unique design requirement for a toy, this concept moves away from a single, concentrated point of stress, creating a more balanced and harmonious structural system.
The Mechanism: Circumferential Support
This is an entirely axle-less wheel design. The wheel operates like that of a normal vehicle, but instead of a shaft passing through the center, it is supported directly at its outer circumference.
